A Surprise Guest

This week’s carecell held a surprise guest: (aside: she has promised to return regularly) Mrs Binny George. She is a living and walking example of God’s miracle working power. More than two years back she was in a car crash which resulted in total loss of the car and the prognosis for her wasn’t any different.

But when man said ‘cannot do’, Jesus said ‘can do’, and now aunty Binny goes around testifying to the power of the Word of God and the miracle working savior Jesus.

Aunty Binny comes from a very rich, catholic family. She was active in Muringoor Counseling Centre as a councilor. Later life circumstances led her to become a part of TMM. By nature she would easily panic. She needed to be often coddled, encouraged and pampered. Though she became part of the leadership in TMM she was hardly ready to take up her responsibilities. After she met with the accident, God walked her through His word, strengthened her, and emboldened her. Now she is an effective arrow in the bow of Christ, strengthening, encouraging and emboldening many in the Kingdom of Light. The words “(My) God’s grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong’ has become a reality in her life.

Do continue to pray that God continue to strengthen her heart to boldly declare the ‘Wonders of His Majesty’ at every opportunity.

Prayer Request

Shiny comes from a catholic background but have been a believer for some time and is very enthu about attending carecells, friday meetings, etc. She is able to attend sunday worship only occasionally.

During her nursing studies she had given a blank check to an advocate to support her in her educational exps. Later she returned 35 grand and meanwhile had spend a good amount for her studies too. Now after many years the advocate has send her summons to retrive 50 plus grand from her which she is unable to. Obviously the advocate is using the blank check to apply pressure.

Please Pray for a amicable settlement at the earliest. If God is for us who can be agaisnt us? A miracle now will be a good testimony to share with her husband too.

First day of carecell

Today was the first day of our carecell led by Leela Issac aunty and we spent some good time getting to know one another and ministering to one another in the power of the Holy Spirit.

There was Leelama, our carecell leader's cousin, Sheeba Thomas with her devoted 19 year old son Allan, and Annie Andrews. Another sister was unable to come but I pray that she will never again miss a session.

Leelaunty shared her testimony. She testified that women still receive their dead from the Lord. Sheeba's testimony of how God diciplined her when she dared to murmur (thru a lightening bolt) was so remnicent of the OT and the expereince of Ananias and Sapphira. She also testified to the fact that she had been given a brand new heart by Jesus Himself!

Annie is proof of the fact that faith comes from hearing and hearing the word of God. What a child of faith.

How pleasant it is when children of God gathers together to learn from Him. There is a passion and fire for God amoung the members. May this first love stay bright and burning till the end. May the fire of God fall upon us that we may all be transformed for His Glory.
